IAG Regional Conference in Cappadocia, Türkiye (12-14 September 2023)

The IAG is pleased to announce that registration and abstract submission are open for its Regional Conference, held in Cappadocia (Türkiye) in 12-14 September 2023! Organised by the Turkish Society for Geomorphology, the Conference will take place at the Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University in Cappadocia. A pre-conference field trip and four post-conference field trips will also be held in various places around Türkiye!

Association of Geomorphologists in Romania (AGR) is a professional and scientific organization with legal personality under private law, apolitical, nongovernmental own heritage, distinct and indivisible. The association brings together geomorphologists, as well as those interested in landform study. It was founded on 20 November 1990 (official documents).

The aims of AGR are to promote Romanian geomorphologists’ activity and results, to be part of the decision-making and legislation processes related to terrestrial environment organization and protection, to initiate and conduct fundamental and applied geomorphology-related research projects, to organize national and international scientific conferences, to publish scientific literature and to award outstanding scientific results of its members.

AGR is a full member of the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG). AGR publishes Revista de Geomorfologie journal where scientific papers from various fields of geomorphology are presented.
